I suck at Solitaire

Is it uncommon to lose 3+ games in a row in solitaire? I just recently read how to play and have been playing windows solitaire. On a bad streak tonight. Played 7 times and lost 7 times. Once I lost in under a minute, and I'm a pretty slow player.

Just playing standard rules.

PS. If you win in the old version of windows solitaire it does that thing were all the cards bounce around and leave pattern streaks. It was friggin awesome. The effect when you win in Vista is a little lame comparatively speaking. I want my bouncy cards back

The solitaire on a 486 with win3.1 was the best. On modern computers the card effect at the end is too fast.

What does it do in Vista? On XP it still does the bouncy thing.

I play almost nothing but Spider Solitaire on medium difficulty nowadays. I think I'm addicted.

I am starting to hate that game... But I can't stop playing. I have about a 25% win average, not sure if that is good or not.

What difficulty level? If you are at 25% on the hardest setting, then you might be the next great genius.

Co-worker and I have been competing on who can score the fastest time. I had a brief lead with 69 seconds, ousting his 71. Now he has 61 seconds...

Used to think the same thing, then I just started playing it during class and got addicted.

@OP: nah, I wouldn't worry about losing a lot of times in a row. sometimes you just can't win. i've lost more than 7x in a row, so someone is worse than you if that makes you feel better...

I prefer Freecell because you can win almost every possible starting layout.

I love that game. I'm at around 900 total games played medium at 43% win. I think that's pretty good.

I started playing solitaire last year. According to Vista's stats, my longest losing streak is 49 games, which I think is pretty damn long.
Also says I have played 1125 games with a winning percentage of 15%, with a high score of 5135

49 wins in a row? That seems a little impossible to me. BTW you have too much time on your hands (as do I)

Losing streak is up to 16 now. I gotta win one soon.

All of the layouts in Freecell are solvable.

I did 40 seconds back before I finally got past the addiction.
