China is a country where they kick farmers off their land in order to build entire ghost cities no one lives in, just so the local party bosses can claim the highest quota of "progress".

The whole can of shit will eventually topple in on itself HARD.

Um right.... then why does every thing in my house have a "Made in China" tag on it?

A lot of stuff in your house has a "Made in (insert third world shithole here)" tag on it also

Bet you can find a few things made in Indonesia, Bangladesh, Mexico etc....

Sure thing, China is running a pretty crackerjack sweatshop economy, and they'll continue to. It's just the whole "surpassing the free world" pipe dream I take issue with. China has a looooooooot of chickens that haven't come home to roost yet. And that's not counting the ones being raised in cages above the (chicken-shit-fed) fish farms.

I am not buying that. They are becoming a manufacturing powerhouse. The backbone of EVERY successful country is manufacturing. They have made us utterly dependent on them (along with India). We are consumers, they are creators. That is GREAT for them and their future but bodes ill for ours. Let us hope they don't get the appetite for empire.

Take a minute and think. What will happen to china economy and way of life if the US and EU do not need or want or able to buy their stuffs anymore? The house of cards will crash and burn in a New York minute because china does not have the internal consuming market in china to use up all of that goods.

Sorry, but that's not even remotely true. They build a lot of shit to order for others who are creators. The Chinese stereotype of creation, is just knocking things off that others have designed.

We have our own issues with dependance on China for manufacturing and plenty of other places too, totally true, but China has SERIOUS economic comeuppance that's going to hit them eventually like a freight train. The books are not just cooked, they are sautéed in oil from chicken-shit-fed-fish. Eventually all the red tape and corruption roiling under the surface will catch up to them, and it won't be pretty.

America now lacks the capability/expertise to manufacture much of what it consumes. China has the fastest growing consumer market on the planet by country mile and has been so for MANY years now. We are being surpassed, deal with it. Check out the link below.

My hope is that as it's people become richer and richer, they develop into a Japanese style government. It is a very real and distinct possibility.

Obviously, you can't read. I rather back up my statements with well know sources and you and others refer to use Wiki. The same Wiki with full of errors and mistakes. Still no answer from you? What else is new.

My reading skills are only in question in your head, which is evidently full of wishful thinking. The core problem here is that you still can't understand what a citation is, along with pretty much everything else. Wiki evidently has far higher standards in that regard than you do. For example, there are the 100 or so aforementioned references for the article about tibet as part of china before secession, whereas you have zero to contradict this fact. ~100 >> 0. Don't about it if those symbols are just gibberish to you, it's an argument for others here who know some math.

China is a country where they kick farmers off their land in order to build entire ghost cities no one lives in, just so the local party bosses can claim the highest quota of "progress".

The "ghost cities" are generally a misnomer by people uninformed about the facts on the ground. They're part of a "build it and they will come" type policy, and the vast majority of such structures are inhabited if not crowded pretty soon after.

Frankly you just don't know anything economics or much else for that matter. The asian economic miracle plan as previously mentioned, and implemented by just about every success story in the region, is to develop in layers starting with simple exports and gradually building upwards like a game tech tree. The speed that china has developed at this is pretty astonishing, which is why they've already surpassed your examples despite a relatively late start.

Sorry, but that's not even remotely true. They build a lot of shit to order for others who are creators. The Chinese stereotype of creation, is just knocking things off that others have designed.

The quickest way to reach parity is do what the successful are already doing. For example, it would be much easier to appear smart by aping what I say than to develop smarts of your own. Going the complete opposite direction produces terrible results as evident here.

The US has its problems of course, but the difference is, we don't operate completely in a bubble that ignores it, cooks the books, and paints a varnish of bullshit over it. You've simply fallen for a lot of the varnished over bullshit China projects, masking the vast problems they've not even begun to deal with. Their eventual crashes will make ours look like picnics.

Who exactly is it you think is really getting 'richer' in the Chinese system? Anything close to a large percentage of the 1.3 billion people? Please.

Side note: is there an annoying little gnat still buzzing around these forums? What did I do with my fly swatter?

Pretty obvious your role here is to mouth off on topics you don't know anything nor think critically about. It's a popular enough trope in american conservatism there's a whole industry that caters to it, which results in all these self-professed "experts" in climate science without knowing any math, and china or wherever without any appreciable sense of the region. Even worse, it's all ideologically driven so facts about reality don't matter.

Your reading skill is beyond sucking. I never disputed that Tibet was under china's rule many years ago as you claimed (therefore, you were lying, again). What did I say in post 39? Go ahead and read it and reply to it and we can continue. Don't run away now or make some pathetic excuses again, ok?

The record shows you were undeniably disputing the accuracy of wiki on this fact, but deny it now that it's become untenable. Let's not pretend any of this mouthiness is some sort of principled argument on your part.

In post 39, as iterated many times hence, you simply could not understand what a war over secession means, despite no doubt reading all sorts of literature about how the civil war wasn't about slavery. Same deal as the inability to understand what a citation is despite being mocked repeated over it, and so on. Someone who demonstrably cannot understand simple sentences is not in position to judge reading skills.

I disputed the overall accuracy of Wiki and I did provided several well know links/sources to back up my assertion, NOT the fact that Tibet was under china's rule many years ago. Learn to read and stop lying, again.

You keep saying the same old bullcrap about not understand simple sentence yet you would not dare to answer my questions directly and then you tried to spin it onto something else (such as the Civil War and other bullcraps). What a coward. Let me say it again, if it is ok for china to invade and take Tibet as you claimed multiple times, then it would be ok for Japan, Britain, Manchuria, Mongolia to invade and take china back by using the same logic. Fair is fair. Don't be such a hypocrite.

Oh, one more thing, countries such as Korea and Vietnam was under china's rule or was a vassal state of china many years ago, why china would not dare to take them back as they did to Tibet? When will china take back all the vast land that Russia took from them? What is the matter? LOL.

Let's be clear, you don't actually make arguments; it's all just mouthing off about whatever like this is just another trailer park spat. That's why explanations of factual reality have zero effect on what goes on in your head. I mean, you still can't figure out what a citation is, yet continue to pretend some links you found critical of wiki bureaucracy are somehow relevant.

It's not my fault you also don't know what secession or most other bigger words mean, and evidently nobody can make you understand anything. In fact, the parallel to the US taking Texas & such then fighting over its secession is rather blatant, but you can't figure that out either. Plenty of teachers over the course of 12 years have undoubted tried to no avail, and I don't proclaim to be any kind of miracle worker.

Intl disputes/relations are conducted in realpolitik. Regrettably that's a pretty big word too so explaining it will be another exercise in futility.

I made my assertion, I provided links/sources to back up my assertion. That's how you debate. I was disputing the overall accuracy of Wiki and your claim that Wiki is the same level of any Encyclopedia, not about citation or any other bullcrap you tried to spin.

I do not need to lie as you have a bad habit of doing so.

As I said, if it is ok for china to invade as you claimed, then it is ok for others to invade china.

Realpolitik? You mean like these the last time china tried to invade? What was the result?

Not as easy as to shooting and killing unarmed monks in Tibet or using tanks to roll over unarmed students in Tiananmen Square, eh? LOL. Let see if you dare to quote the links I just post.

Yes, keep using big words that you have to clue to make you feel smart and I will just using well know links and facts to provide my case.

As demonstrated, you were just posting random links found to be critical of wiki without any sense of their meaning or relevance. Eg. "I hate A, so imma google for negative things about A to prove I'm right." That's how net tards think a debate works. It rather makes sense this path has led to where you are now.

As another example this is just pathetic trolling, because in that simpleton head pointing out that china lost some war or whatever is supposed to make me angry. There's no coherent argument or even thought here.

The realpolitik reality is this was right after the US thought it would win france's colonial war in vietnam by killing off some million yellow people, but that turned out to be a miscalculation. If anything Mao was arguably ahead of his time following in those footsteps of a superpower.

Links from Time, MIT, and Harvard are random? I reckon they are smarter than you. I have links from them to prove my assertion. That's how debating is getting done, not by posting a few links from Wiki like you did. Remember one of my links stated Wiki is not accurate for research?LOL.

That's realpolitik to you, commie china lover. The only one to preserve independence is to slaughter the chinese invaders or will be the next Tibet, East Turk, Inner Mongolia. A kid would know that to stand up and fight back a bully or well he will be bully around. That's why I posted several links about how nations around the neighborhood are getting ready for the chinese invaders.

I just post links from well known sources to back up my assertion and NOTHING you can do about it except whine and bitch and use big words that you have no clue.

Keep digging and lying and foaming at the mouth. I will be here and be ready with facts and links to back them up.
