The scene where Eric is lifting the submarine out of the water he is shown with his right hand holding on the rail and left hand extended out straining out of control while lifting the sub using everything he's got. The next scene he magically is on the other side with left hand on the railing and his right hand extended out as they move the submarine to the land area. If he is straining that much in the first scene no way he switched to the other side like that lol.... Anyone agree???/

This sort of stuff happens all the time in movies and TV shows. Someone will be in one place in one shot and will have subtly moved or changed poses in another shot.

In Star Wars, in the scene at the beginning of A New Hope when Vader is choking the rebel, the stormtroopers in the background switch between holding their blasters at waist-level and chest-level. In Titanic, when they break the glass to get at the fire axe, in one shot the glass is jagged and still mostly attached to the metal box, while in another shot it's almost entirely cleared out. I never noticed these until I read about them on a "movie blooper" website.

There was a scene in Monk where Monk was on a TV set and started pointing out all sorts of tiny details that changed from one take to the next, and at first the director was grateful but eventually he got annoyed. Fact is this sort of thing happens all the time and it's always in the background and doesn't matter.

i hate when they mirror an image. for example, if there is an actor with a distinct facial feature, like a mole on his face. in one scene it will be on the left side, and in another scene on the right side.

they shoot multiple takes of scenes and then edit everything into the movie

breaking news

next someone will reveal that they don't actually shoot the scenes in the order that they show up in the movie

Yeah, that's a pretty major blooper. Probably spent millions in post trying to clean it up, and still doesn't look right. What a ridiculous mistake...

It's a telekinesis based power - he technically should be able to lift the sub without using his hand at all.

I noticed another blooper: people can't use magnetism to lift submarines. That's a pretty egregious lapse of reality on behalf of the fillmmakers. What are they going to tell us next, that people can read minds or fly or absorb kinetic energy? How absurd.
