And that, in turn, reminds me of the Aston Martin Lagonda: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aston_Martin_Lagonda

The Lagonda was the first production car in the world to use computer management and a digital instrument panel, although the computers in many of the original cars are failure-prone. The development cost for the electronics alone on the Lagonda came to 4 times as much as the budget for the whole car. The second series used cathode ray tubes for the instrumentation, which proved even less reliable than the original model's LED display.

The Lagonda's striking design and opulent, club-like leather interior, together with its then-state-of-the-art instrumentation, contrasted starkly with its decidedly "old world" 4-cam V-8 carbureted engine and Chrysler 3-speed "TorqueFlite" automatic transmission; the latter two combining to provide a poor, often single-digit miles-per-gallon rating.

Sounds like a real winner.

I'll definately take that for front end collision protection.

The Kaz Eliica's body is shaped like a bullet and certainly travels like one. The Eliica is powered by eight in-wheel 55 kW electric motors and a bank of lithium-ion batteries. It runs faster than any other concept in its class and reaches top speeds of an unbelievable 220 mph, which it registered at the Nardo test Facility in Italy in 2004. It boasts a 0 to 60 mph acceleration of only 4.1 seconds, faster than numerous engine-powered vehicles of its size and some high-profile sports coupes as well.

The Kaz Eliica prototype provides limited cabin space with minimal headroom. Despite measuring limousine-like dimensions at 15-feet long by 6-feet wide, the vehicle only seats four people. It weighs a hefty 5,291 lbs.

I have actually always kind of liked the Gremlin, and the Pinto is benignly bland IMO. The Pacer is definitely ugly, but for my money it's not even the ugliest AMC car - the Matador holds that honor, and the Eagle was pretty bad too. I don't really think any of those even approach the Aztek, though.

Make it non-limo, even if it's only a 2 or 3 seater with some trunk space, and give me more head/leg room and I'm in!

Since someone else busted out the "electric" car as qualifying for ugliest cars... electric cars literally redefine the word ugly.

Anyone seen George Cloony and his Tango car? It's even a 2 seater as the second person sits behind the driver. This is also the NEW model of the car that actually has some curve to the front. The old model was a perfect box. Every time I saw it I thought it was a postcard on wheels. Also a side note, these are sold as "kits" that you put together yourself. But at least, like most modern pure electric cards, is a speed demon.

Another fun one would be this bad boy of a car here. How would you like this in your driveway? It's electric AND solar powered.

At least not all electric cars are this gawd-awful ugly. I like the Telsa Roadster for example.
