My roommate is sick, his friends are all sick, now I'm sick. My throat is killing me, throat lozenges aren't doing shit, and the only peace I can find is in a can of microwaveable Campbell's Tomato Soup.

You know what irks me? When I'm sick, I go out of my fucking way to make sure I don't give it to anyone else. I warn people if they're trying to mooch off my food/drink, I usually stay in my room, and I'll use some hand sanitizer or something if I happen to sneeze all over the place.

My roommate: 1. offered to split the price of a hookah at a hookah lounge, we smoked for a while, then remembered he was sick.
2. was all over the place sneezing.
3. drank out of MY soda, also before remembering he was sick (how the fuck do you forget that?!)

I had flu for the past week almost finished with it. Nasty flu, haven't had one that last this long in like 5 years. Had headache, body shivers from cold, cough and now my throat has 2 painful grape-sized sacks under my jaw. My throat pain woke me up today in middle of night because of swelling. Now trying to drink hot tea.
Hope your flu doesnt get as bad as mine lol.

Hookah = argila, water pipe, etc. Easiest explanation is it's a bong like thing, except you smoke tobacco out of it, that's usually flavored with honey or molasses or other shit. Fad that's spreading on college campuses, and we're Arab college students so the fad applies double .

I'm about on Day 8 of it now. The 3-5th days were the absolute worst. I am just in the "after-effects" area of the flu. I am just happy to get it out of the frikking way.

Good luck, this flu is probably the worst I've ever had, but it shouldn't kill ya. Drink a lot of water. Don't let yourself dehydrate like I did. ugh.

Been trying to drink non-stop all weekend. Gone through a carton of orange juice, a few energy drinks, a big Gatorade, Propel, two bottles of Sprite, and countless Campbell's microwaveable soup. I just wish I had the appetite for some solid food

Get over it man, everyone is getting the flu this year, 48/50 states were at the highest risk levels and that was weeks ago.

Stop drinking caffeine or soda in general, the sugar is horrible for you helthy and giving yourself that when you are sick is even worse. Eat fruits and veggies and make sure you hydrate properly.
