Out in West Texas, gas has dropped $.40 in the past 7 days. Will probably be sub $3 soon.

Whole sale prices in most of the country have dropped because seasonal demand has dropped(like it always does this time of year). Retail sales lags behind wholesale. Some places could see low $3/under $3 by election day. Analysts predict the national avg dropping to $3.20 by thanksgiving and $3.10 by the end of the year.

Again, it is all seasonal changes to demand.

Prices have fallen to around $3.50 in the burbs of Chicago in last month but that is after being around $4.50 for last 2 years.

Gas prices are coming down due to increased supply, in part due to refinery issues being resolved, and decreased demand. I'm no lover of Obama, but he aint fixing gas prices in Ohio.
