This is just a nasty fight here in this area - both are hideous choices &
neither deserves to be elected.

What does need to be on the ballot is a third choice - NOT ACCEPTABLE.

If 'NONE' were to win, both would be ruled as disqualified, and new candidates
picked in a special primary to fill the vacancy - but NOT either of them.

By the way - this is the fallout from the 'Re-Districting' of Tom Delay,
capturing and combining 2 incumbents former territory into a single one
in a power grab to put Republican Standards into play with a power grab.

Texas is VERY conservative, (or @ least they claim to be, & it's always pissed me off, they can be married 5 times, drink like a fish & then scream bloody murder over a 30 year old college kid prank) this kind of crap gets the congregations buzzing

I think the issue is that he was a moral monument when Janet Jackson winked a boob at the crowd. He is not being true to himself. Texans just hate that!
