Losing my self control and nearly beating my younger 22 year brother to a pulp...

Stress + someone who doesn't always rub well on people = Losing temper...

I felt kind for what I did. Good thing my mother was around to break it up. She had that very worried look on her face. I ended up leaving after a small talk and getting a chocolate milkshake. I just cant believe I let my brother get to me. I need a long vacation.

I had no idea dairy products could be so effective for domestic desputes.

Seriously though, take your anger to the gym or something. Don't let you family get to you like that. Just blow it off

I have not lost my temper in years. And I tend to bottle things up sometimes. I should have hit the gymn like I wanted to earlier.

I see it way too often with my sons. One always knows just how to get the other riled up. Ages 19 &amp; 20.

Will they ever grow up? No.

Aww Adul, it happens. I still get in fights with my brothers and sister, its just a part of family life. Just remember that, and walk away next time.

I used to hit my 6 years younger brother a lot, when he really pissed me off. I never really beat the hell out of him, but I did hurt him a few times. A few months ago I apologized to him for it. I felt much better about myself then. I have a problem with anger, I let it build and eventually release it. Used to release it as violence against others or myself (usually myself), now I just have panic attacks.

I haven't hit my brother in years. It's amazing what having 90% of the North/South range of the continental US between you will do for that.
