What would you do if your GF took that same philosophy and became a fat hog? I'd rather be in good shape and make my GF happy than eat my pizzas all day and force her into pretending to be attracted to me.

good post. If I keep up not exercising, I'll associate being not in shape with being with her, which would suck.

It's an easy rutt to fall into about getting more "comfortable" (nice word for lazy) with oneself when they find a significant other, especially in a long term relationship. One way to motivate yourself is by being honest: Why are you getting lazy? Because you don't need to attract a new mate, but on the same token you're also saying it's not worth it to stay in shape and your sig other isn't worth it because she'll stay with you anyway. Not very nice is it!

And yes I've gone down this road as most of us have Go to the gym in the mornings. I'm sure you can find the time to workout

Well it doesn't help that she hates working out in public, so no gym for her, and she hates running, which I love doing. She says she wants to get a bike & go biking but her schedule is mad and she doesn't know where to get a bike.

I hate talking about this too, she hates this subject.

If you're so concerned about losing your muscle, then why don't you just go work out by yourself? Do you have to be with her every second of the day you're not at work? Just because she doesn't like working out doesn't mean it has to stop you.
