I'm building an E6850/IP35 Pro system with 8800GTX and a couple gigs of Ballistix Tracer ram and I'm looking for a suitable case that won't break the bank. As far as cooling goes.. how are Desktop cases as compared to Towers? I've pondered building a case from the ground up for a full customization for fan placement and such. I'm considering acrylic and i assume certain bits and bobs that hold things together such as hdd cages, the rear brackets and such for ports/daughtercards are fairly easy to find. I'm really digging the turbine case designs. That would save me from using my house fan blowin in the case to keep the heat at bay and save on the electric bill for one less thing running. I think I may use the Scythe S-Flex for the cpu.. seems to get good reviews, right under that TS120Extreme that needs lapping to work at it's best.. I don't know i'd want to spend that kind of money on something that needs work AND a fan, too. Give me ya'lls ideas and suggestions!
