I want to bleach my hair. How?

For some reason I want to bleach my hair. My hair is naturally really dark blonde, almost brown, and I'd like to do that bright blonde bleach thing. Question is, what do I use to do it? Also, how do I do it? Do I go all the way down to the roots? Or just stay around the top?

i would get it done by a professional...i had bleached streaks done before and it looked complicated

I'd rather do it myself. I'm not talking streaks, I'm talking the whole head of hair.

Have a professional do it or it will come out a really ugly orange color. It will be worth the $$$ to not look like a fool.

I'm not paying a professional ridiculous money to do something you can do at home. I know someone has to have done this at home. Anyone?

Yeah...and ruin your hair. Drying it out so much that it can crack, break off, is extremely unhealthy, and may even need to be completely shaved off so new, healthy hair can grow in.

Get it done by a pro or have a friend help you with a good kit type thing.

That's what I'm talking about. There has got to be kits out there to do this sort of thing, I'm just curious what they are and if anyone has used them?

I guess you go get a bottle of lightner from a drug store...

yes, we have used them. it depends on YOUR hair whether it will work or be a disaster.

I have used those kits. Just pick one up from walmart. Make sure to leave it in long enough (probably longger than the box states) to get down at the &quot;roots&quot;.
