I agree with you, we live in an age prosperity and longevity...but its like the world has lost its moral compass. Just the other day Toronto had its first dumping of snow and I was at a red light and noticed this woman struggling with a baby carriage over a snowbank and 5 people at the bus stop just ignored her. Shit like that makes me wonder about this world now.

the reality is that from generation to generation of humanity, every one of them believes everything is truly fucked, or everything is fantastic, or theirs is the most crucial generation, at their specific time, all in equal measure with the others.

Say wha? I've seen figures stating that upwards of half of Americans have seen a mental health professional of some sort, for some reason. And we all hear the figures about how many people are on anti-depressants or some other kind of drug.

Is mental illness still a taboo topic in your world?
