I want to know if there are any CA online retailers that allow for pick-up.

*Sorry if this message sounds like I'm bitching, but I live in So Cal & I think that this is a necessary component of making a HOT DEAL.

I already know about mwave, but I think CA retailers suck when it comes to offering an option to pick up merchandise after placing the order online. Mwave charges $5, but is only good if you're ordering something big; like a case or something. Other states have retailers that offer pick up. Why not CA? If I'm wrong, please list the stores where I can pick up in So Cal.

I had tried many of the online vender for will call.....most of them don't do will calls.......however, I think the ones that go to the local computer show, will definately do store pick up....I think one of the reasons that they don't do will calls might be because that they overcharge you on shipping to make up the lost in selling an item for so cheap......

I feel the same way. I live in Sacramento and work in the bay area. One or two vendors will let you will call but most want you to pay the freight. At the cost of the UPS or whatever I know it dosen't cost as much as they charge you and can save some money not to mention the time or the possobility of dropped or broken boxes. To add a charge for will-call is just wrong because they have people there already doing other stuff.

Try BZBOYZ (www.bzboyz.com) or TUFSHOP (www.tufshop.com). Both are is Long Beach CA. I've bought from both with no problems. Both allow you to pick-up with no additional charges (unless they've recently changed it). You will pay sales tax, though.
