I went clubbing last night

Yeah, for the attractive people.
I leaned a few things. Actually I probably already knew them, but last night reaffirmed them.

1. I cant dance

I think someone in High School told me I could. I believed them. And since I have not had a chance to really prove this (at least as sober as I was) that belief stood. Let me tell you, reality hits like fvcking ton of bricks.

1. I am unattractive

I knew this. The ladies I went with assured me that looked great. The vodka I had prior to my entry helped me believe them. However, after a few hours and countless cold shoulders, I realized this was not true. After my self esteem had had enough abuse, I went to a corner with a good view of the cages. Thank god for those cages.

Has anyone else had this clubbing experience? I would hate to be a girl at a club. I don?t even think they exchange names. I mean, guys just walk up to them and start rubbing their crotch on them. It seems wrong. Shouldn?t there be a small exchange of information first? Anyways... helps to prove my friends theory that all women are sluts on the inside, you just have to bring it out.

BTW, I noticed there was no waning about epilepsy. If video games cause seizures then the club has to be instant death. I think I am going to go find an epileptic kid who has little to loose and take him there. After the lawsuit we will have millions.

A woman in a club is a lot different than a woman just off the street. Most women are going to clubs to hook up or have fun dancing, some just go to hang out with their friends though.

My friend has the same luck...we went out downtown last night, my wife and I, him and a couple friends he has that were girls....I am chubby a bit now and was getting women talking to me, I wasn't trying to pick them up, just noticing funny things or whatever and started a conversation....he kept on talking about women he'd see non-stop, everyone was getting annoyed...the bottomline was I told him the same thing I always tell him 1) girls see you gawking and other girls, they are not going to want to get involved with that crap 2) if you like a girl hang out around her for a bit and try to get eye contact or she if she's putting out any signals, then go up for the introduction (assuming you don't just want to try and booty dance with her and go for the one nite stand)....

I don't know how it works, just minding my own business I meet more women than this guy does actively looking...we all left early and he wanted to stay, I am sure he will say he hooked up with a threesome or some kind of crazy story.

Well then...ummmm...better luck next time? Honestly, I wouldn't let one bad experience ruin everything for you...I've been single for over a year now, and go to clubs all the time with my friends, but I don't go there to pick up women. I go to have fun with my friends and enjoy the music (usually some DJ I know)...maybe once you grow accustomed to the club scene with your friends, you can venture back into talking to random people.

When out clubbing looks matter. It's a meat market out there and the competition is fierce. I'm 34 yrs. old now so I don't go out as much anymore. But when I was younger I hooked up a lot. I would go to the rock bars and hook up with girls who liked guys with long hair. I looked like I played bass in Bon Jovi. The girls liked that. Oh, and dancing was never a problem. You just have to go out and have fun. Let loose, and get rid of that stress.

Oh well... Now I just sit in on weekends and play bf1942.

im not ugly, in fact most girls tell me the exact opposite... but i just have no confidence...
ive always been lucky with girls tho and have always had gfs but never had any one night stands or anything like that... also i dont go clubbing cuz i cant dance

Easy to fix.

Don't go looking for girls, go to a club with friends looking to just plain have a damn good time.

Things will work themselves out after you get your confidence back.
I don't really ask girls @ clubs and things end up working out well, usually.

I used to get to clubs early (mostly to get a feel for the place and earn some rep with the staff for reasons in my past)....usually I'd get a woman or two coming up to me or one of the staff would send them my way. Then I'd just talk....I am a pretty good talker.

Get there early?

The key is to get there late - say, 60-90 mins before closing. By that time, most of the girls there will be so trashed... well, lets just say that everybody is more fun with a few drinks in them.

clubs are great. Man its all about how you carry yourself. THe look you give off. First part is attraction but you gotta be able to carry somewhat of a conversation also
