You're missing something. The rap you're referring to ("motherf*ck this and that and dogs and cats and deal drugs and rape women") is the same crap whether it comes from a white or black man.

While lots of people hate Eminem as a person, you can't deny that "Without Me" is a damned catchy song. When he's not going on one of his trademarked Angry Streaks (see "Kim") Eminem is a good artist. When he starts screaming about killing people, he's just another wannabe thug.

Moby started the little feud between the two of them by calling Eminem's lyrics misogynist. Eminem resprised with a little of that by calling Moby a "36-year-old bald headed f*g". Triumph just messed everything up because he wouldn't shut up about that, and then kept harping on Moby to say something back. No surprise Eminem just pushed him away - I wouldn't want to talk to the little Ed The Sock wannabe in that situation either.

And the Icy Hot Stuntaz are way worse than Eminem. Seriously.

Did Moby say that before or after Eminem bitched about him in his song?

Eminem, while catchy, is nothing more than a trend. He doesn't have the skills (lyrically; not delivery-wise) to make a long-lasting impact on the industry, other than pissing a few Britney fans off.

Actually, Eminem produced or co-produced a lot of the songs on his Em Show album.

Almost ALL the beats suck either way tweakmm, and the fact that they are not really his beats makes it even worse, his first CD is far better than his second one and I'm sure he didn't touch the beats on that cd. Listen to the Chronic 2001 cd then go listen to Eminems junk, no contest WHATSOEVER. The SONG without me is indeed very catchy, but it'll be over played within a month. The people talking crap about rap in here are being plain stupid. How can you talk crap about the music when you've heard only what's on TV, and what some wanna be gangster in his ride blasting tunes is listening to? Anyone who talks crap about rap, then proceeds to say that Eminem is good stuff is a f*ckin moron talking out of his ass. Eminem's goal (as he has stated many times) is to sell as many records and make as much money as possible while he has this 'career'. He knows he doesn't deserve what he's got or where he is but he is going to ride it for ALL it's worth to set himself and his his child up for the rest of thier lives. And he makes no apologies for this either.

Anyway, for maximum exposure, Enimen loves to shock people (read as YOU). Much like Howard Stern's career, the people who HATE Eminem and bitch and moan about him constantly and even picket and protest him ARE JUST AS IMPORTANT (to the success of his career) IF NOT MORE SO THAN THOSE WHO LOVE HIM.

The most damaging thing you can do to Eminem and his career is basically ignore his existance and not be shocked or angered by anything he does.

I didn't read this post, I don't particularly care to read about whether or not a bunch of geeks think eminem is good or not. However, I think he has a pretty good flow to his song even though his lyrics are often obscenely disturbing. I do enjoy Moby quite a bit though. I didn't hear about this booing, but if Moby booed at eminem for getting an award, it was probably deserved...considering Eminem blatantly makes fun of Moby and 'beats him up' in his song and music video that won 'best video' award.

That's a good song lyrically. In the post-9/11 atmosphere of being afraid to criticise the goverment in anyway this song is refreshing.

I agree with his sentiments toward Mrs Cheney and Gore too... both of whom should keep thier version of morality out of my face.
