No the key to the best dropshippers.

I would never tell you that so you could be my competition.

Wouldn't matter to me, dropshippers usually only drop ship items that are essentially useless to the average consumer. They fit very niche markets(cheap people who want bootleg items), my experience with drop shipping was hectic I will never do it again.

You know all that money which goes into the Navy?

We never see it. I assure you we are NOT getting top quality merchandise. Most of our shit comes from ghetto American companies. The senate oversight committee may list hammers at 50 dollars a piece, but they are more like 5 dollar hammers.

I can only guess where the rest of the money ends up.

Hillary Clinton has sorority sisters doesnt she?

Your problem is you don't know how to dropship electronics.

Processors, hard drives, SSDs, Monitors, etc

Oh, and those 50 million dollar F-18's arent worth 50 million dollars. They break a lot, they need way more maintenance than the F-14, even when running good they dont work for shit. Most pilots hate them, but they dont say that to the public, as a rule.

And the Navy was forced to buy a lot more than they actually wanted initially, and convert too many squadrons at once.

Again, I can only guess as to who ended up with the money. It sure as shit didnt go into the planes.

IT. We Google about 90% of the problems.

Man i remember working at Staples in high school. We were young so we must know what we are talking about right! When someone had computer problems we did two things 1) look at the pictures for nakedness and 2) Google whatever they said the problem was. Then 3) If the problem was to complicated our solution was always just "reformat it"

NO but the NAVY sure knows how to break their own shit, cry like little babies when they think something "doesnt work", and generally just be rude. Love how half the shit we fix in overhauls is crap the navy patched or tried to fix. Best was a firemain they did a softpatch on 2 months earlier. Never told anyone. Softpatch blew in port. 10000 gallons of salt water all over CRES piping....yay! Or when we install a valve and they complain cause it "leaks" at 2 cubic in of gas per minute....even though the valve only has to be better than 5... Or just the fact sailor dont know how the fuck to not stand in the middle of the fing passageway. Seriously group of them all stand there. They see you come up. Dont move. "Excuse me" and not one moves. Push your way through and get rude comments and sarcastic "excuse me" from them.

And yes you guys do get some crappy stuff from supply. Thing that always irks me is o the NAVY pays 50 bucks for a nut and bolt from people who arent in the NAVY. But ya know when that nut and bolt is the only thing keeping that main seawater valve together at 500+ feet below the surface....suddenly 50 bucks for them to make sure they are perfect isnt so bad.

let me take a seat

thankyou

anything more

the f-14 was done in by donald rumsfield so not sure if that is the right example to compare. what about comparing the f18 to the f15 or f16. those are air force planes so i suppose taht this might be for navy experience. how good are the growlers? what can they do? and are these f-35 going to be anything but expensive rumbling pieces of crap?

I'm too tired to get into this with you but the yard companies rape us, thats why we dont like you.
You guys do horrid work, and then ask for a renewal of the contract cuz you coudlnt get the job done on time for the money asked.

Will tell my stories tomorrow when I have the energy and patience.

Not a secret by any means. As a general contractor we make boatloads of money by simply being babysitters for anti-social construction workers.

My Brother in Law went from flying A-6 Intruders to F-18s, comparitivly he thought the F-18s were awesome.

Most of the civilians who work for NAVFAC and the Corps of Engineers and "oversee" general contractors have no clue how a building is built, what the individual components are, or what the test standards they hold us to even are.

ps im not a contractor. Contractors are the worst thing have happened to the navy (im guessing all military as well) for exactly the reasons you mention. You have no idea how much of their shit even we end up fixing/finishing cause they run out of money.

Rather Im part of the group that the Navy flys out to the carrier or to where ever the subs are to fix whatever is broken cause its outside the Navy's capabilities. (or more shipsforce capabilities)

You and I could probably both swap stories of the shitty contractors who fuck the government over then just change their name so they can do it again

But this is not really for this thread anymore. Feel free to PM me if you want and we can discuse it. But it takes it a bit off topic to do it here

I agree the contractors do shitty work but, the military is partially to blame. I almost never see anyone inspect their work.

Every assertive statement in most any report we write is likely modified to potentially be inclusive of weasel words allowing plausible deniability in the somewhat foreseeable event that things go bad.

I like...

Oh man... I know at least some of that's true, but won't add to it.

if you call pizza hut; there is no way to verify coupons or deals, necessarily, over the phone.

the ten dollar pizza, any way you want it, only comes if you bring up the deal, otherwise it's such a rip off to keep adding additional toppings to a pizza! "large pizza, unlimited selection for $10 please." -they can't say 'no.'

anyway, if you just say there's an ad in your paper, the employees have a manual override option to give customers the deal of their choice.

note: if the pricing deal offered by a customer is too absurd, they will probably not give you the deal, but refer you to another one just as favorable.

realistic: big dinner box for $19.99 with a soda

unrealistic: 6 medium pizzas for $14.99

walmart.com sometimes posts newegg coupon deals that you will NEVER EVER find in the screwegg email letters.

last november, we could get $75 off orders over $xxx. AND, amazingly, it stacked with refurb coupon deals. so it was like %60 off for a 240Hz TV, almost getting the TV for nothing.

===

office depot has stuff on clearance all the time at stores, crazy deals.
way cheaper than ebay markdowns and cheaper priced amazon products. just the other day, picked up several logitech M325 mice for $2.94 each.

===

last but not least, as most of us know.. get your college books online, not from the stupid college-book-store, if it can be helped.

===

GG; awesome thread!

A lot of car parts are intentionally made incompatible with other model cars just so they can charge more for them.
