This thread has been very entertaining watching people give justifications for gaining weight and being fat.

I agree. The OP is right, and the OP's g/f needs to get over the whole fragile female emotional self-esteem insecurity thing and start hitting the treadmill already

I guess lots of boys like to date girls who resemble 12 year old prepubescent boys? *shrug*

A woman needs curves.

She needs a curvy ass and curvy tits, but nowhere else.

Don't think anyone's saying they'd refuse to date a girl because of a few extra pounds, I know I certainly wouldn't. Calling the OP shallow, however, for speaking bluntly on the subject is flat-out wrong. It's instinctual to desire health & fitness in a mate. It's also instinctual to tend toward learning language and adopting a religion; are people who are literate and/or religious shallow? Well, actually, on that second one... nah, I'll shut up

Most men prefer women who's stomach rolls are smaller than their boobies and w/o cellulite on their booty.

But that's just it, TG, it's not natural to have t & a without having a few extra pounds around the midsection, since t & a are comprised primarily of fatty tissue. Why can't males understand that? Also, I know plenty of stick-thin gals who have cellulite--that's genetic.

t maybe, but a is more pelvis - if I'm remembering HS biology correctly, womens' are wider than mens'. Plus I think most women severely overestimate the importance men place on bust size.

Wrong... My past two gfs both had very flat stomachs. One was 5'7" with 32Bs, the other was 5'2" with 34Cs.

It's all about shape, not size - shape. Big, small, wgaf - shape. Show me the wall before the floppy canadian milk bags.

what a ridiculous topic. i am ashamed of myself for participating.

i am 23, i am not by any means overweight, i weigh 115, and i am 5'4". i have a 3 year old son, and when i was 9 months pregnant with him i weighed 180 pounds. i do know what it feels like to be fat. i was extremely sensitive about it, and if i thought that my boyfriend was off blabbing his mouth about my weight on an online forum for the world to see, i would have died of a broken heart, and he would have died from an angry g/f.

i don't feel that any person on the face of this earth has the right to judge that girl, or anyone for that matter, based on their physical appearance. many of you have shown right here in this thread how ugly you can be.

People judge on appearance. Get off your self-righteous soapbox and get used to it. Physical appearance plays a huge role in the way percieve and interact with each other. That's just the way we're wired. Good luck changing it.

I should also mention that you, being a girl, have probably been given some sort of preferential treatment in your life. This is, of course, assuming that you're remotely decent looking. Unless you were complaining then you have no right to judge and none of us want to hear it.

oh man, this is the perfect time to mention one of my rules for dating.

I call it the magic number. take her weight in lbs, divid by her height in inches. the number should be 2.1 or below.

before anyone say anything, yes, I am shallow. looks is a big part of weather I can be with someone or not. my gf( almost 4 years) is below 2.
