Very true! I was just going to say it was likely andromeda if it wasn't edge-on. See that's why you need a good director like Kubrick, he never would have stood for that shit. He would have filmed that scene on-location.

Alot of people were hating on call of duty infinite warfare for being a "Star Wars Clone" but unlike star wars, infinite warfare is strictly within the solar system, the first mission was on Jupiter's moon "Europa"

I think infinite warfare is the best game if you want to explore the solar system.

If you watch Europa Report, you'll realize anyone landing there is a snack for the native species. Not to mention the radiation from Jupiter being unkind to life on the surface.

Well the planets aren't "revolving" so I don't think it's necessary to add "ellipses".

Wasn't there a seen where luke and friends are looking fondly out a window at the milky way? Or at least I assumed it was the milky way. Was it a scene after Luke gets out of the Bacta tank?

It was at the end of ESB, and the Milky Way is a barred spiral so it couldn't be that (although maybe that wasn't known at the time).

hate to say it Star Wars has become a caricature..any hint of nostalgia I had for it is dead and gone.
I always preferred Star Trek anyways. but the new iterations of both are just hell to the eyes.
