I would like to know the best UPS Battery Back up

If they are non spillable type with relaxed mounting - good chance they are very similar. However these are considerably more expensive than flooded deep cycle batteries found in retail chains.

I had set the charger on AGM and only the 2A setting to start but that alarm must be telling the battery is bad, it was very quite. I don't have another charger to try and I would think AGM is the same no matter the charger? Mine does charge at a higher frequency SCF-2500A.

Optimas are very good and AGM/SLA settings will work.

My local walmart sells optimas. And their knockoffs are nearly identical, any position mounting compatible.

As long as they're AGM and have adequate capacity I suppose it does not matter. Cheap flooded batteries are a poor choice for UPS/SBPS though. Flooded systems are used by telcos but they are designed for this purpose from the ground up including proper venting of explosive gases, intrinsically safe fixtures, etc.

Small SLA is fine for sufficient run time for the facility transfer switch to engage and the genny to come on line and synchronize, etc. Flywheel systems are also good for this type of operation. Of course I cannot imagine anyone (outside of a character of fiction - Tony Stark) having such a system in their house! :laugh:

Gillbot, That sounds the same as NAPA's "Look-A-Like" which burnt my charging system on my Scout and went through 2 of them NAPA batts then I went back to Optima's and still working

Once I find out the my Insurance company will do then I will know what rout to take and ask here on this thread for opinions so that I do things right.
