They don't want a stone chip in their windsheild, so they're keeping a safe following distance. Out in the countryside with no one around, I'm sure they drive as jerky as you think they need to be!

I don't like to drive above 60 because it prevents expensive tickets, which are basically the same as throwing money away, and the difference in mileage between 60 and 70 is huge. It also doesn't save you much time in commute. That doesn't mean I don't have some fun every now and then when I'm out on an empty road by myself, but, really, what is the point on a freeway?

That being said, I try to at least go the speed limit if it is above 60

Yes because thats clearly what this means:
I don't have any ill will as both of the drivers know how to properly utilize the right lane it just doesn't fit my stereotypical archetype for owning a higher end sportscar so it makes me curious

I thought canadians were supposed to be better at reading?

I couldn't care less how slow people go unless they're in the left most lane or middle.

Stick to the slow exit/merge lane if you notice the majority of cars changing lanes to pass you. It's not that you're wrong 100% but you're contributing to hazardous conditions due to some personal obligation or duty.
