Been running this way for the past hour, stable so far. Are these temps decent? Anything I should look out for, or be aware of? I'm kind of new to overclocking. Thanks all!

Looking at your image it doens't give a person enough info to comment about your overclock.

How did you overclock the chip? Hard locked the vcore/speed in bios? Does it throttle down at idle? What is your vcore and temps under 4 core load?

To overclock, all I changed in the BIOS was the multiplier to 43, and the vcore to 1.36v. I really don't know anything about overclocking to be honest. I was really just looking for a ballpark on what a good temp range is I should be trying to stay within, or not exceed. Is staying the 40s ok? 50 too much? Things like that. Thanks.

What kenmitch said ---^

Apart from that the temps look good

EDIT: Actually...have you done anything like ran prime or linX??? Those arent idle temps are they?

You need to stress test the chip and see what temps it gets to, if those are idle temps they are a bit rubbish tbh.

SB's are easy to overclock unless you get a dud. There isn't any need to disable the energy saving things and hard lock the vcore. They are made to throttle down when you don't need the power and ramp up the speed when you do.

Stress test to see what your temps are under load. Your idle temps look kinda high which is most likely because you hard locked the vcore in bios.

Staying in/under 70's under heavy load is what most people call safe. The chip could take more but the lower the better anyways.

This is the kind of info I was looking for. Thanks. This machine's purpose is for writing music, and I believe the throttling was causing spikes in the audio as the CPU would throttle up and down. Since turning all of that off, and hard setting everything in the BIOS, audio is now smooth, and the CPU meter in my DAW is solid and steady, where before it was bouncing all over the place.

Thanks everyone for the help!

I guess that explains the need for no throttle down.

Just in case at a later time you decide you wanna maybe throttle down at idle somewhat you do have the option to set the minimum clock also.
