Ordinarily, I would agree with you... but when the i3 can be had for the price of two Pentiums below it (very nearly), and the Pentium below that, can't be found for sale at anything resembling MSRP, then the i3 doesn't look that bad of a choice.i3s are a waste of time. Go cheap and get a Pentium or stop being so tight and pick up an i5. The middle ground is a wasteland.
