DANG it guys! I know you guys are probably tired of trying to help me. But I did take the advice and bought the Cooler for the CPU. I bought the M9i Cryorig.
Now turns out that the Voltages are wrong, and it happens to be a Known issue with the F20 Gigabyte BIOS!

Although my Cooler gets here this week. I was wondering if someone can give me Clear Instructions on how to downgrade the F20 BIOS on my Gigabyte G1 Gaming Motherboard? The instruction provided on this Forum weren't clear enough. https://forums.tweaktown.com/gigabyte/28441-gigabyte-beta-bios-1060.html
This other link had better instructions but the method didn't work for me and gave me an error message 2 times I tried.
(This one here) http://forum.giga-byte.co.uk/index.php?topic=17957.0 all though it did work for other people.

Could someone Please kindly help me downgrade the BIOS on my MoBo? I have no clue what to do. Turns out F20 is setting voltages higher for Skylake CPU's. I did manually lower the Voltage but the PC crashed on 2 stress test with BSOD and this happened today while gaming for 8 minutes.

Please help me guys! this is by far one of the best Forums IMO.

Yesterday I got 2 BSOD while doing a Stress Test.

Did you do exactly what this poster said to do in the thread you linked to from Giga-Byte Forum?

https://www.mediafire.com/?p66jhts7cfi26y8
https://rufus.akeo.ie/

After you have created bootable USB stick with , in my example Rufus,
copy all files inside FPT Z170 Tool for DOS directory to USB stick , then copy also bios version you want to install.
For example if your bios version is named "Z170D3H.F20" rename it to bios.bin
If you want to downgrade to F5 version , then rename Z170D3H.F5 to bios.bin and put this file to USB stick where are also other files located.
This is example for my motherboard model.
Then boot from USB stick and downgrade should start automatically.

You still have option to install F20 version back in BIOS , if computer won't boot.
But ofcourse you'll need that bios file on your USB stick to do that or if it's located elswhere (external hdd...)
I mean original downloaded file, for example Z170D3H.F20.

Make sure you are unzipping the BIOS file on your desktop after you download the zipped folder, and renaming the actual BIOS file to the .bin, and not renaming the zipped folder to that name and putting all those files onto the flash drive. It sounds like you only need the BIOS file.

Please confirm if the USB I have prepared on the Video to Flash BIOS was done correctly.

Thanks guys!

EDIT: I erased the VIDEO due to some personal email being displayed. I like everything Private.

Question once i created the USB with the Files what do I do next in the BIOS? BOOT From USB or do I need to Do the Flash option from BIOS?

The guys instructions on the Gigabyte Forums said to "Boot from USB" Can anyone confirm?

I looks like you followed the directions the one user from the Giga-Byte Forum typed out. Watching your video however where you replace the autoexec.bat file when copying over the FPT files, I wonder if you should move over the whole FPT folder, and not just take the files out of the folder. That way Rufus will still have its autoexec.bat file to be bootable, the FTP DOS folder will have its own version to do what it needs to do. I'm not for sure on this because I haven't had to downgrade my BIOS this way before.

You can try it the way you were doing it, and see if it boots after selecting to boot off of it in your BIOS. From the sound of it, it should start doing what it needs to do if it works. If it doesn't work you can try what I suggested and see if it makes a difference.

Awww man it did bro! OMG! My Voltage lowered it self automatically down to like 1.2 for the Vcore? I just remember it being up to like 1.38 with F20 BIOS. However even after turning down Voltages my Temps are High! but hey I get my M9i Cooler next week. Will see what that does.

For the BIOS Downgrade? I did exactly what you told me and this time it worked like a Charm. NOTE: You have to BOOT from the USB for it to work! I officially have F8 BIOS again!

Thanks so much for helping me!

Haha sorry. That is my idle temps

I have the ND-D14 Cooler. It's freaking huge though. If you do buy it make sure it fits in your case lol.

Anyway here I take whole screenshot.

Ohhh man Phewwww! so that's not your temps while gaming? You sure they are idle temps? had me worried.

I do appreciate you taking these screenshots for me to compare! since I don't know what it supposed to be like for a 6700K I assumed my temps were starting to get normal.

Yes idle temps

I have not read the thread comments yet, but I can tell you now that 100c is not good. I get around 60-70c on high settings when I play Overwatch.
I also know that CPU cooler plays a significant role. The better cooler you get the better.

I am not the person to give you answers because I have little knowledge about PC I'm sure someone here will give you the correct answers and hopefully fixes your problem.

Most definitely! this is by far one of my favorite Forums. I got lots of help from here before.

After turning down the Voltage on my BIOS and downgrading from F20 BIOS my temps got about 60-70c while playing R6 Siege tonight! glad to hear this is normal. Please NOTE: I am using a Stock Intel Cooler, so once my Cooler gets here (Nothing fancy at all) I am sure I will see even better Temps!

Tomorrow I will continue to turn down the Voltage on my BIOS. Its an amazing tool to lower temps!

Cheers all! Good night!

Yes everyone here is very helpful and some just want free ipod and some just want to find future wife's on the off topic board.

You will definitely get cooler temps when your cooler arrives because the stock cooler is the worse cooler you can get for the i7 6700k. Also why the hell did you buy the stock cooler lol? It doesn't come with the CPU iirc.

Yeah, mid 60s to 70s is normal for the i7-6700K under load. Mine tops out at around 77 C in stability/torture testing. It would be lower with liquid cooling, of course, but 70s is well within the safe operating temps.

You won't be able to lower the voltage by too much below the "normal" amount, but you can keep incrementally lowering it. Eventually you'll hit a point where it's no longer stable at that clock speed, though.

@Cappuccino Sorry can't quote messages (error) but I bought a 6700K due to its Raw Power Performance early 2015. I didn't know and still don't know how to overclock so I bought a stock cooler. My M9i however is arriving next week, should see a slight improvement with that.

@Crono Yea I just learned about lowering voltage. Its why every time I incrementally lower the voltage by -.0.10 increments I run a 15 stress test with "Realbench" to see if the System is somewhat stable. If it passes the 15 minutes I tend to leave it alone and play some games, which is mainly what my PC is for at this moment. If no crashes occur then I will go ahead and lower the voltage another -0.10 or even -0.15

So the Intel Stock Cooler is PWM however does it Automatically Spin faster the hotter it gets by default? So installing my new Cooler the Cryorig M9i I won't have to mess with the Fan speeds? its plug and use by default? or will I have to do something extra to make it work properly?

It should spin faster with higher temperature, yes. You can check that it's doing so with HWMonitor or HWiNFO and look at the RPM speed of the CPU fan when idle and under load (e.g. running a stress test like AIDA64, or a CPU intensive game).

You can also set a fan curve or manually set RPM speed in BIOS.

Perfect. Thanks. This is the first PC I build on my own so I am kinda learning things. So with the Aftermarket Cooler I won't have to manually set the RPM If I don't want to? it will automatically spin faster with higher temps just like Intel Stock Cooler does, correct?

So I just found out today that I could remove the HDD Bay from my Case. I do have a DVD Drive so can't remove the top one. Next week I am going to fix the Cables on the Top left corner, that's the MoBo LED and the Power connector to the MoBo. Will hopefully be installing my new Cryorig M9i next week as well. Just wanted to share hehe. Its kinda crappy and Humble but it does its job well.
