He is not having a CPU heat issue...

In his first post, he states that the CPU has trouble maintaining any turbo at all. In that it turbos to 3.2 (normal, according to you, with all four cores loaded), but then drops down to 2.93.

I agree though, the temps shown by speedfan in the first pic do not indicate a thermal problem.

It seems like it might be wattage. The thing clocks in games, but in stuff like f@h and IBT it masses around. It seems to be hitting 108 watts now on a bare minimum (3+1?) board.

There is usually a tdp protection setting somewhere deep in the CPU/overclocking options within the bios that you can disable. I know in the past before I used MX4 heatpaste and before I had a decent case I was getting 80c+ but it still wasn't throttling with my overclock because I'd disabled the overcurrent protection.

If you want to be sure of what your CPU is doing in realtime then download Argus Monitor. It's a very handy all in one utility that can show exactly what frequency a cpu core is running at any given time. Much better than any other that i've seen.
