I'm pretty happy and I doubt I will push it any further on air... my goal was to stay under 70C under load and I have achieved that, this i7 ROCKS!

Uncore Freq: x17 The reason I bolded this is because there seems to be conflicting opinions on what this setting should actually be. Some say it should be DDR3 speed x2, so if you're running at ~1600 then it needs to be x16 to equal 3200. Others say it's DDR3 speed x2+1 so in the previous example we would need to use x17 to get 3400. I would recommend trying both methods as it might be a motherboard thing.

If any of you have any suggestions for me, it would be much appreciated. Cpu-Z says my DRAM frequency is 640...is this okay? Should I be doing something different to get more from my trip-channel corsair 1600?

So, is the Noctua that much better than the True on i7?

You won't lose much by running 20:6 ...
What are your other settings ? How many sticks of RAM ?
Have you tried with just one or two sticks ?
3.8 seems to be fairly common with a few voltage tweaks.

I had to choose some weird settings to make this work and no matter what I tried, I couldn't run my RAM at its rated speed of 1600 (had to run it at 1200 instead). Also, my Uncore clock is a little more than 2x the RAM speed. Oddly enough, if I drop the un core multi lower, I get stuck in a boot loop and have to clear the CMOS.
Forgot to add, the idle temps are in the mid-40C and load temps are mid-75C on all 4 cores
