i7 920 Random BSODs

I got a new i7 920 system about a month ago. Here are the specs:

intel i7 920 D0
gigabyte ex58-ud3r
6gb ocz obsidian ram 1600MHz 9-9-9-9-24 (off the top of my head)
Corsair TX750W
60gb OCZ vertex
Windows 7 Professional

I overclocked my i7 to 3.8GHz. the voltages were nothing unusual. I think I had the CPU volts at 1.275v (1.2v in Windows) and QPI at maybe 1.26 - 1.28v. My memory was at 1.64v or 1.66v.
Prime95 ran stable for 36 hours and then crashed. When I tried to restart Windows the bios said something about how the computer failed start or something so it reset the bios settings. I tried to change them back to the previous overclocking settings, I got the same message.

I figured out the problem, whenever I would set the memory voltage to 1.64v (without changing any other settings in the BIOS), the motherboard would say there was a problem and revert to standard settings. Weird.... Did I break something? It was pretty sure that I would have to RMA the motherboard....

I turned off my computer, and came back from work at night and I tried 1.64v on the memory, and it worked again. I haven't experienced the same problem since. But, whenever I try to overclock I always get these random BSOD's after a number of hours of using prime 95. It seems irrelevant to the CPU/QPI voltage or anything else that I change.

I finally decided to test my computer using prime 95 at stock settings (including 1600MHZ ram at proper settings). The first time my computer BSODed after about eight hours. The second time I think it only lasted four hours, and my computer screen wouldn't come on when I moved the mouse/pressed the keyboard. But when I restarted windows and looked in the event log, there is no evidence of an error happening that time....

My last time I ran prime 95 at stock settings for 3.5 days (84 hours). I thought okay, my computer must be okay now. Maybe I was imagining the whole thing.... I turned off prime 95, surfed the Internet for an hour or so, turned off my monitor and went to bed. This morning, I woke up, turned on my monitor, and you can guess what happened next. BSOD :'(. It had occurred sometime during the night....

This is really making me crazy....
here are some miscellaneous info

1) Prime 95 will only BSOD. I have never had prime 95 generate a error within the program itself (is this normal?)

2) The BSOD error messages seem pretty random. For example, I get
PAGE_FAULT_IN_NON_PAGED_AREA
SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION
IRQL_GT_ZERO_AT_SYSTEM_SERVICE

and some other BSODs that do not specify what the problem was.

3) I have tried using memtest86+ 4.0 overnight (8 hours+) but it could not find any errors. I am sure I have done this 3 times or so. (is memtest 100% reliable?)

I think that's all the relevant information I can think of. If you guys need anymore information, let me know.

I appreciate any help you guys can give

Thanks,
Ian

If your overclock fails on a i7, it will not shut down.

It will BSOD and reboot.

Yes its wierd, i think it has something to do with the IMC.

I really need your hardware settings.

Can u go into BIOS.
Go inside your overclock settings, and try to take a picture with a camera phone even.

Looks like to me you need a little more qpi voltage as that is pretty low there. Most are around 1.35 volts.
