( i7 Owners ) Where can I get the newest chipset drivers for my new mobo

HELLO, I have a ASUS P6T Deluxe V2 LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX Intel Motherboard http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16813131365, ( socket 1366 )

where can I get the latest chipset drivers for my motherboard, I dont want to use the drivers on the disc that came with the mobo as they might be outdated


do I go to Intel website or my mobo manufacturer's site ( Asus )

but my motherboard has a Intel Chipset ( X58 ) wouldn't that make a difference, see on my previous mobo I had a MSI Nforce 3 motherboard with Nividia chipset and had to get my chipset drivers from Nvidia website since it was Nvidia Chipset, I'm basically wondering doesnt this apply the same for a Intel mobo since my mobo has a Intel chipset

ANYONE, if its not to much asking could you please post a link to the actual driver, I have searched on Intel website but this http://downloadcenter.intel.com/filt...0&submit=Go%21 is the only thing that comes up for X58 chipset drivers i'm not sure if this is the correct driver or not

Just go to the Asus website, they have everything you need there.

I've built several systems with Asus motherboards and I have always found all the drivers on Asus' site.

You are looking for the chip set .INF file, and it's easily found on Asus' web site.

Did you spend anytime looking?

They offer "Version 9.1.0.1013 WHQL" & "Version 9.1.1.1004 Alpha", both are newer than what Intel or Asus offer on their web sites. Use the 9.1.0.1013 version, since it's actually the most up to date, even though the numbering system might seem to indicate 9.1.1.1004 would be newer.

Note: if installing over an already-installed older version, a Command prompt method is required.
Open a command window [Start-Run-CMD].
Navigate to the directory containing the setup.exe file.
Type:
setup.exe -overall
