Sorry old thread... but happy to say my check came last week! Can't believe it! When the class action paperwork came years ago it seemed pretty clear that I was not eligible because IBM replaced the drive I sent in (which failed of course). The paperwork stated that if you were only eligible (for the $100) if you did not get a drive back after the first one failed - they were offering some CDR's to those people that had a drive fail and IBM sent them a replacement. I thought this was pretty lame so I just sent in the paperwork anyway asking for the $100. Glad I did.
