IBM T40 upgrade

Sure, just wit for the slim ultrabay to come out and pull the old one out and slide the new one in. You'll need the drivers.

Yes, if it's an IBM part (which it will be), it will not void the warranty.

THe DVD burner will be out soon. Keep checking ibm.com. THe bay in the T40/41 is smaller than the other thinkpads and that's why they are behind on getting one to market.

knowing how much ibms cost, i would say pretty expensive.
