Hello All,
I currently have an IBM X40 and I am looking to change the hard drive ... the current one is dying (having trouble reading data).
I was wondering if anyone has any experience with changing an IBM hard drive? I'd like to keep some of the IBM software and infrastructure, not to mention my files and OS installation. However, IBMs are somewhat weird with their partitioned-off R: and whatnot.
Anyone with knowledge of or experience in changing laptop hard drives and especially IBM hard drives, please post!
Oh, and can anyone recommend a good hard drive to put in? I'm thinking 7200rpm, 100GB+.
Thanks!
