Ichiro to Yankees

Numerous reports saying that Ichiro has been traded. While he's not the player he was a couple years ago it's still a good upgrade to the yanks considering gardner won't return this season.

Being a local, I have watched and still watch many Mariners games and marveled at his skills in his prime, those days are long behind him. It is very sad to watch him flounder around out there now and his hitting is rough to watch as well. I have been a big fan of his over the years, but he needs to retire, Mother Nature cannot be denied.

No he isn't, not this year. And not last year as well. In fact, his offense as an OF has been pretty much bottom of the barrel.
