It's nice to hear that it is healing. Can I ask if something made a difference (seeing a specialist, a particular set of instructions, etc...) or was it just time that made things start to improve?

And the real difference came from seeing a specialist or two (dermatologist and then surgeon).

Next time you have an issue, get a referral to a competent specialist from your primary doctor. Assuming you have a PPO of course.

damn sucks.. wish for pics too.. had what seemed like ingrown hair in my neck.. stabbed with needle so many times puss would come out (months and months) it got huge. eventually i went crazy with it and cut it open with a razor blade, randomly stuck tweezers into the blood pool and pulled what ever i could. Its a nice scar now but managed to heal. really feel your pain but at least its not in a visible spot ya?
