Hello All. Currently I have my cable modem connected to a server running ipcop, the server has a second NIC card that goes to a switch that all my computer connect to. I use one of my computers for gaming. I am wondering if I would get better performance by connecting my gaming pc directly to the cable modem, and letting the other computers share the connection through it using a second NIC card. This way when I game I might have a little less latency. I am wondering if running ICS on my gaming pc will slow it down much. The other users on my network are pretty light users and there are only two of them. It is a beastly machine, so I wouldnt think it would be a problem, but I just wanted to know your thoughts. Also, does the windows ICS have QOS capability? Thanks!!!
