Used games are stolen games btw. There is a reason why Gamestop/GameCrazy makes so much money off of them. They are the ones who actually aid piracy within major retail establishments. Instead of developers getting hit with losses, its retailers who get hit by theft. Piracy/theft is all the same. I'm shocked retailers still sell video games.

Cytek 2 is going to be multiplatform. Fantastic, the PC now has no exciting exclusives except MMO's. Let's hope Intel changes the game with Project Offset. That's the only way PC gaming will regain its former glory, by having the companies that benefit from sales of PC gaming hardware back the platform up.

Neither do any of the consoles. There are few exclusive titles anymore, and it makes no sense from a business perspective. PS3 had MGS and Final Fantasy which are now multiplatform. Bioshock was ported to the PS3 and Mass Effect came to the PC. All thats left now is Halo, Killzone 2, and a few others.
At most you get a "timed exclusive" which is marketing speak for a game that will be multiplatform in a few months.
What I find funny is that Crysis came out in 2007 and it still has nothing that can match it's graphical and technical prowess. Not even it's own sequel looks better than it, which is a pretty sad first for the gaming industry.

In 5-10 years, they will be crying because the consoles will have merged into PCs and the PC gamers wont forget what they have done. Muhahahaha
Anyways, I guess we get more shitty ports...
Fixed.

I wouldn't say it's raging really. It's just that all games (can) look better on a PC, and everything but platformers (and maybe sports games?) controls better on a PC. That's why I'm getting FF13 on my PS3 (I like the controller better), Crysis 2 on my PC, etc.
Not to mention that very, VERY often games are dumbed down for the console crowd. FF11 comes to mind. It had a horrible control scheme because it was made for a PS2 controller. Fallout 3's inventory management is made-for-console as well, when it could have be way better if it was designed for a keyboard/mouse.

Make better games and the real gamers will support you by paying for it.
Oblivion has no DRM to speak of (maybe it had a simple cd check?) and it sold amazingly well. Shit games get pirated.

Fallout 3's inventory management was just fine, I had no problems using it on PC. I have no problems using it on 360, it's vastly different between the two. Also, you like the Dualshock controller?! Yikes, that thing is like a torture device for me.
About the only games I can agree control better on a PC is RTS. Even then, Halo Wars controls great on the 360.
I also have a feeling that the differences between PC and console versions of Crysis 2 are going to boil down to minor things that only the PC fanboys are going to care enough to bitch about(ZOMG XSUCKS 360 IS ONLY USING TRILINEAR FILTARING, I CAN USE 90X SUPER ANISTROPY ON MY AWESOMECARD3000!). Same, really, about most games.
Personally, I say if it's a good game play it. Don't bitch that it's not on the system you're religiously invested in. In fact, stop being religiously invested in a system, period. Each platform has it's strengths, and each platform has it's weaknesses.

What does CRYTEK have anything to do with that? You think they abandoned PC cause CRYSIS2 is their first title that comes out on other platforms? Really?!
Grow up and learn how to calculate. You want AAA games? A typical AAA title now costs 20 million+ and you can only sell a little over 1 million on PC normally. It isn't feasible anymore. Not even for self-financed studios like id or Crytek.
AND YES: Piracy is a huge problem. With every year it gets easier and easier for total noobs to download everything they want. There used to be a hurdle for newcomer-warez kiddies but with Torrent and Rapidshare everywhere even the dumbest kid in class can download without paying. That is the main reason behind all of this: consoles need a mod chip and other tweaking so that you can play warez-copies, PC doesn't. -> Only 5% of all console gamers pirate their stuff compared to maybe 40-60% of all PC gamers.

I'd be happy if they'd (officially) let us use our damned USB devices on consoles and I'd be happy. I personally don't care for graphics, just the gameplay... but I can't stand using a flimsy controller for nearly anything but driving.
