IDE HD showing up as SCSI?

I boot from a SCSI HD, I just added an IDE hd for mp3s, etc., but...
1) It doesn't show up in explorer
2) It's showing up as SCSI in device manager

Any idea what i'm doing wrong?

Does the BIOS see the IDE HDD?

Do you have an ata-100 or controller on your motherboard like a promise controller or high point? If so this will make your HD come up as a scsi device.

I'm guessing i've got an ata100 controller. My mobo came with an ultra ata cable that i'm using. No raid, though.
It's the 8K7A, with an ibm 60gxp.

And you partitioned/formatted it?

Nah, it's not showing up in my drive list.

i had a similar problem with my KT7. Did you do a clean install of the 4 in 1's?

I had a similar problem as well. Have you tried installing the newest 4 in 1s? That fixed my problem.

Edit: Here's my problem
