well ide hard drive raid cards like promise fasttrak does not have a true true raid capability, you know, like with ram on raid board and stuff, so it's more software than hardware, but scsi with dedicated proc and ram are truly raid, even though you will not notice too much diff unless you are using your comp as a server usually... also, you know how much a raid scsi card costs right? I mean, you can raid scsi in WinNT or 2k with the OS, but i think if you are really serious than you need a scsi raid card. Just my opinion
