Ideal CPU for BFG 7900GTX OC?

Currently on a 3200+ Venice, it does OC nicely but need to know what the ideal performance level is to not restrict a GTX.

For some reason 3800+ speeds stick out in my mind as being the necessary speed to not hold high end cards back these days.

Any good CPU scaling reviews out there?

For now I put her at 2.5ghz. Working nice at stock voltage.

For our died-in-the-wool gamers that are spending a few hundred dollars or more on your high end video cards, make sure your AMD Athlon 64 processors are at least 2.4GHz in processor speed, and your Intel processors clock in at least at the 3.2GHz mark. If you let your CPUs fall below these levels, odds are that you are not using your GPU to its fullest ability.
