Ideal Temps for a 3000+ Venice

29-34 Celcius a good range to be running on an A64 Venice 3000+?

yeah, thats about as good as it gets. what cooler are you using? is that just idle temps, or idle-load?

Thats at idle. Stock HSF. I plan to OC later on once I have the ram and a new HSF.

ideal for me would be loads in the 30's but realistically is different....

If you run stock vcore and sped temps in the the mid to low 40's is realistically....

I did some testing and at 2.5ghz with 1.42vcore (from my winchester 3000+) my load temp was 42c and my idle temp was 29c as seen on myu MSI board....

2.6ghz with 1.48v boosted that to 46c load and 2.66ghz with 1.57v boosted that to 51-52c....It really takes off with vcore...

So idle temps are going to be dictated by your case cooling and ambient temperature of room the pc is located in....very good case air-flow and it is conceivable you could be within 5-8c of room temp. I am generally 22-23c room temp and my idles are usually 29c for no vcore boosting...32c if i have it at 2.66ghz w/ 1.57v.....

My rule of thumb is to keep it under 60C at all times. Haven't killed anything yet with that one either.
