IE 5.5 problem! Please help!

Hi,
I got IE 5.5 SP1 windows 2000 sp2, the problem is that when i open IE and type any url, my browser freezes for 5 sec after site is loaded then continues to work. When i type new url in the same open browser there is not 5 second freeze. Can anyone one help with that problem? Thank you.

P.S. installed IE 5.5 SP2, IE 6.0, latest NIC drivers, norton 2002 virus free, nothing helps please help

Check that the option to automatically detect Internet settings is off so it doesn't keep rechecking proxy settings.

it set to automaticly detect setting.

i set to automaticly detect setting and then removed, same problem, reinstall proxy script, same problem.
