IE Anandtech Icon

I have put Anandtech on my links toolbar.. and I get this great Anantech "A" icon there... but it keeps disappearing after a few days... is there anyway to keep the icon? or get the icon so I can keep it on my system to prevent it from disappearing?

You delete the icon whenever you clear your IE cache and specifically clear favicon.ico files. The only way to naturally get the icon back is to bookmark the site again.

yeah but I never clear my cache... hmm.. perhaps I just don't visit the site enough.. but you say its favicon.ico... I'll look into that..

If you've done your reading, you know that the favicon.ico file can contain two or three images. So, just because you see one image, it doesn't mean that's the image youy'll see on your Favorites.

Shutting down IE abnormally can also cause you to lose your favicon.ico file.
