IE error: Memory could not be "written"

what is this error?? i kept getting this error quite often now... i already googled it but couldn't find any solutions. help?!

it means to find another browser

for real though, i've seen this in piles of system where the users run IE, and we've never found a good reason for it (except some pages do something that causes it). I've heard rumors that flash/shockwave pages with certain version combinations will cause this, but never been shown any proof. You have the IE service pack from windows update?

IE is not the only program that can cause this. This can be caused by just about any application. Are you getting this in a certain application? It can be caused by amny different things from a corrupted DLL to bad hardware.
