I don't know where else in the forums to ask this...
IE is exhibiting a new behaviour that it has never done before, and it's driving me up a wall. Cause is unknown, but probably one of the XP updates or registry hiccup.
Normal:
1) Manually running IE, first instance of IE opens where you last left it. Second instance of IE opens a bit lower and to the right of that.
2) Click on a link in an email or document, same thing -- first instance opens where you last closed IE. Second instance will be lower and to the right of that.
Now the following happens:
1) Manually running IE, same scenario as number 1 above. This is OK.
2) Click on a link in an email or document, the first instance has stopped opening where I last left it. It now always opens down and to the right. I say "no". Move it to where it should be, close it, then click on the link again...and IE opens down and to the right of where it's supposed to be. :disgust:
There must be a way to stop this behaviour.
