Actually there is, I can think of plenty Central management, configuration, policy enforcement, updating and auditing. Microsoft: had it for years. Competition: still nothing. Most home users have no idea what this means to someone with lots of computers to maintain and keep out of harms' way, with or without the users' cooperation. Windows Server Update Services, Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer, and Group Policy make it a snap with IE5, IE6 or IE7.
On Vista, IE also enjoys Protected Mode. Competition: nothing (yet).
But anyway, use what you like ...and run it as a non-Admin :thumbsup:
