I have just installed IE9 on my laptop running W7 enterprise, and I am already tired of that little bar at the bottom asking me about if I really want to allow all content, YES! Damnit, I opened the page I want to see my emails!!

Ok Rant over, so how do I disable that annoying security bar at the bottom, or at least tell it how to remember the settings for a site?

Go to Internet Options, select the Security tab. Then click the "Custom level..." button.

Once there you should be faced with many options. Browse down till you find "Display mixed content" and change from "Prompt" to "Enable".

It is a security feature, so be mindful that this may reduce the level of security on your system.

EDIT : Alternatively, change only "trusted" settings and then add the domain to your trusted list.

I'll tell you what I hate about IE9...the fact that tabs are always in top of the window. Ive Googled quite a bit and it seems to be a common annoyance. Tabs should be on the bottom of the tool bars, right above the web page youre viewing.

Back to IE8 for me.

Back to IE8 for me.

Right click next to the tab bar and click "Show Tabs in a separate row".

That doesnt work. It still puts the tabs on the top of the pane, and there's no way to move them. The first pic has an arrow of where I want them, the second pic is IE8 with the tabs where they should be IMHO. Reading on MSDN's site its actually a common complaint.
