Hi everyone I was just wondering if maby anyone can help me I am 13 and have no way to get money and when I say no way I really mean no way. I want to build a nice pc but I don't have the money to do it if anyone can help please reply and thank you in advance

Sounds doable on the cheap.

If you want one that is 100% free you could visit your local city dump on a sunny day.

I visited mine and saw a few vans throwing away computers that were pentium 4's I asked if they worked and if they were just upgrading their company and they replied, " Yeah these old pentium 4's still work."

I should have taken a few to use as project pc's.

Some dump yards have a rule against taking them but many times the employees there do not care because they are discarded anyway right?

If you are disabled, there may still be ways you can earn money. That you are able to use a keyboard implies you might find some data entry work, possibly by posting at local colleges for grad students needing that kind of help with their research.
If your parents forbid you to earn money, I'm not sure what to tell you; digging deeper is none of my business.
If you are not disabled, now that Spring is here (depending on where you live), very likely you'd find a ready market for people who'd love some assistance getting their yards or gardens in shape. If you're in the Southern Hemisphere, they might be more interested in leaf raking.

If your neighborhood is so bad that you cant go rake leaves or mow lawns, then you need to leave there and move somewhere else. If you want a PC bad enough, you will have to work for it, no way around that. We were all 13 once, and we all wanted stuff without having the money to get it. If there was an easy way to make quick cash fast, I guarentee you I would have done it when i was a kid. Go door to door and offer to mow lawns/rake/clean up garages/walk dogs etc..

Don't know where you live, and this might be more appropriate for a heavily-populated area, but: have you checked your local CraigsList under "free stuff"? I'm sure many of us have sadly discarded/recycled obsolete computer equipment while being aware that it could find an appreciative second owner if there were only some means of linking up.

Do you have parents? Could you offer to trade labor to your parents, in exchange for getting a refurb Core2Duo off of a surplus site? Most of them come with 2GB RAM, 160GB HDD, and Windows 7, and they cost $80-160.

Do you have internet on anything but your phone?

Maybe just using your phone for now is what you'll have to do.

Edit: Yes, checking CL "free stuff" for discarded PCs, is a good idea. Also check the computer listings for keyword "curb". Although those probably won't deliver it.

Are there any PC charities? Any companies near you that might be discarding PCs on a regular basis? You might be able to get a PC sans a HDD, and then just buy a cheap used HDD online ($20 or less).
