Really, I'm gonna need idiot-proof step-by-step instructions.... I'll brick this thing.
Don't worry, it's practically impossible to brick it since the microSD is first in the boot order.

Wait, they sell these at BestBuy as well? Really?
Indeed they do and they have for a while. Regular price + tax of course.

And like I posted earlier it comes with this: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....at232900050024
You have to add it to your cart.
Also, who's running Nookie Honeycomb? Is it ready for primetime or should I wait a bit longer?
Are you running Froyo of SD card or you flashed the onboard ROM?Honeycomb won't be ready to go for a while. Three roadblocks:
1. There is no Honeycomb source to make a "native" version
2. True Honeycomb support will require a newer Linux kernel (this also might fix bluetooth) and that work is tough from what I have read
3. The DSP's breakage is not easily fixed as well. Seems like even getting CM7 working is hard:

I am predicting decent working Honeycomb in maybe a month or two if Google releases the ASOP in the next two weeks. For now the best version by far is Nookie Froyo, with working Flash, video (Youtube), and market support.
What I do is dual boot the current Honeycomb with Froyo. Froyo is for me to actually use, but when I want to make a friend feel jealous of my "little Xoom" I boot into Honeycomb and show it off. I have even turned off all the animations and I have force installed popular Android apps (Angry Birds) to create an illusion that its a slick experience.
But the honest truth is Honeycomb right now (even when installed on the internal memory) is slow (even with overclock), buggy (MANY things crash), and hard to use (so many market apps aren't there and can't be force installed- like the Nook app). Froyo is where its at right now...

Onboard eMMC. All SD card versions run too slow for regular use IMHO. I have both Froyo and Honeycomb installed internally, with Froyo as the default. Poor stock OS was blow away within an hour of the package being opened.

Do you have link on how to load it onto eMMC? The instructions on nookdev were for SD card nookie.
Actually I use a customized Froyo with some of the kinks works out (and a overclockable kernel by default). Instructions and things to download are here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=938200
Then once its installed and running, I recommend installing the "v0.0.5 with Softkeys" theme using the Rom manger:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=944278
With that theme you can then have menu and back buttons on the status bar (like Honeycomb does) and it becomes completely useable (as in you have to use the annoying N button Softkeys less).
I've been using the nightly CM7 since last night. Wow, this this is awesome. I can't believe it was only $200. Why doesn't someone market this as a full featured Android tablet? I could see this thing flying off the shelves with a stable android build if it was priced between $250 and $300.

Are you having any issues with it?
Installed it, but App Store says it's "unsuccessful" installing apps. I can see them and click install, but it doesn't install them, and notification says unsuccessful.
Hmmmmm, after reading that thread from the first link there, it seems they have problems with that build - touchscreen going wonkey, and the wifi going off and on, etc... I'll wait till a more stable HC build is available. Not to say I won't try a stable Froyo build in the meantime.
How do you dual boot on the internal memory? I just installed nookie froyo but I'd also like to try CM7.
