If George W were assassinated, how would you react?

I would be pissed. The GOP legacy spin machine would start making him out to be JFK or something. Since Dubya and Cheney agree on almost everything, not much would change.

im not from canada, but i agree completely with the way that america would react. i dont want chaney to move up for sure, and the ecomony (not US, global, there is not a national economy anymore) would take a small tumble at least.

Well, I guess if ole boy Jean was killed, Canada would just act like pussies. I mean that it typical fashion for them: acting like pussies. Hell, the would probably give the guy an award and make sure he got free healthcare too.

Well thank god old jean will be giving his job to paul martin next week I believe. About freaking time!

Seriously, do you just not value human life? or is your hatred that blinding and intense as to wish death upon someone?
Even if you think the guy is an idiot and he's ruining the country, that doesn't mean that his actions warrant death.
Besides, you'd be happy about an even more fundamentalist president coming into power?

If it happens (can't believe how many people here want it to happen and it seems that people that want it will cheer in the streets) you just have to stop for a moment, think, then move on. Show the world that chaos doesn't happen in the US, transfer power to next person peacefully. I would be fairly mad, confused, seeking for answers why such a thing would happen.

But then I would also be screaming "give me back my prime time TV" after about 2 weeks of media coverage.
