If it's Ohio State vs Flordia Will All the Flordia People Eat Humble Pie When Flordia Gets Slaughtered

Every rational person knows:
1. OSU~Michigan>>>>>>>Flordia
2. BCS games are saturated with bias and irrationality...

So Flordia will most likely go to National Championship (why should the 2 best teams in the nation play each other in the championship  that's silly talk).

Blah blah blah.

Since Michigan fans may get screwed out of going to the national championship that the second best team in the nation deserves, we should demand that the Flordia supporters eat their humble pie with Flordia gets crushed by 28 points. Like calling the ND/USC game on Oct 22 where i was SOOOO close to USC's win (called 21 and it was 20), I am calling a 28pt victory for OSU over Flordia.

Ironically, Florida not going to national championship means that they would most likely play Notre Dame in the Sugar Bowl. Which should be an easy win for Florida (or any other top 15 team). So Flordia fans are demanding to play OSU--where they will get crushed, instead of hoping to be able to destroy the heavily over-rated ND.

FYI I'm a Wisconsin fan--not a Michigan fan. I have other problems with the BCS--like the #7 in BCS polls not making a BCS game. Maybe my analytical mind is messed up but I feel 5 BCS games would mean teams in 1-10 in the BCS poll would go to BCS games. But it makes much more sense if the best two teams in the nation are in your conference then you shouldn't be allowed to go the BCS game--that only seems fair .

FYI #2 If by some chance Flordia beats OSU I will glady eat humble pie along with starting a charity to send jackets to hell that recently froze over.

Let the flames begin, every year something like this happens. Some team gets the shaft and is left out of the championship game. This will happen every year until they switch to a playoff system that gives 8 or so teams a chance to win the championship. Oh and btw, f those d@mn computers.

But we can't have a rematch! A rematch would mean the end of the world!

Maybe if Wisconsin had won a game that mattered this year they would be in a BCS bowl dude. Overranked just like Notre Dame!

I think the point would be if a rematch happened and mich managed to win osu would have a very legitimate complaint that it should be shared being both teams split the games. (if the rematch happens though you can be assured the heat will be on the bcs and likely would not survive next year atleast in its present form)

mich already had their chance and lost... florida hasnt and is the only other 1 loss team (that counts) that hasnt had a shot against osu. that said i dont think either team can/will beat osu this year but thats besides the point.

Eh every year there is a controversy that "threatens" the BCS, but really it doesn't change anything. Teams that feel they got shafted will claim they are the co-champions, others who benefited from the system will claim everything happened exactly as it should.

Teams who hate and decry the BCS one year will often look at it more favorably when it's giving them the advantage and shafting someone else.

In short, it's going to take the outrage of more than one large university and its fans per year to get the system changed. I don't see it happening any time soon, but maybe I'm wrong.

I think a Florida/Ohio State game would be the best matchup to watch.

The SEC is the most incredible conference ever except for USC. It I had it my way, it would be USC vs. the SEC champ every year.

Sarcasm aside, I hope its a Ohio State v. Florida game and Ohio destroys Florida. ESPN loves the Yanks, Bosox, Duke, USC and the SEC. I don't think they have all that many titles between them in the past decade considering how much love they get.

I am going to bookmark this thread and reply to it constantly when the OP is self-owned.

self-ownage is the best, especially when it's from worthless westerners.

UF has had to endure one of the most craptastic seasons a team can endure.

How many ranked teams did Michigan play? .... lol, thanks, Mr. tard.

If you actually watch football, the only game Florida lost to was to a seriously bum call by the refs in auburns favor in which a commentator left the stadium in disgust.

Florida DESERVES a national shot and will give that crap team more than they bargained for.

I guess if you are from Ohio, you must have a strong passion for a school you never went to, since Ohio is worthless.

Here are some of the arguments:

man, didn't thinkanother person who "thinks" would post on this topc.

lol, i get what you are saying, even though those who you are trying to convey the message to are too busy banging their sisters to understand that Ohio is finally going to get a match up that they haven't seen in years.

lol, I wish OSU played in the SEC.... it would shut up A lot of dumbtards that think they know anything about football.

Wisconsin also didn't blow any games they were supposed to win unlike other teams still going to the BCS. Do you really think Notre Dame deserves to go to the BCS in front of us?

I personally don't care. I'll be going to the Capital One Bowl to root on the Badgers, who will probably be a huge underdog to the ALMIGHTY SEC team just like last year when Auburn got wiped all over the field.

I guess since I'm not from Ohio, that argument is useless. Just wanted to point that out--even though in my original post I explained how I am a Wisconsin fan. I see how miss-spelling Florida is far worse than thinking Ohio=Wisconsin (I mean moving 1 letter is far worse than not knowing the difference between 2 states).

That's the point of my thread but instead of being "self-owned" I will be proven right so I can bring it up Jan 8th.

I agree Florida is no where near the caliber of OSU or Michigan. Florida can not make a mistake to even think bout hanging in their. They beat an Arkansas team that got destroyed by USC's offense.

I guess losing by 3 points on the road like Michigan did against their arch rival isnt good enough of a game? Give me a break.

and OSU won. OSU deserves to not have to play UM again. like another poster said, what happens if UM wins? cochampions, which means nothing was decided.

might as well have osu vs florida, so whoever wins is the champion. because florida will be the only college to beat osu, or osu will be the only undefeated.

UM had their chance and lost.

BCS is just like a playoff season, except the PAC-10 has no conference championship game . each team has to win their conference, then those teams face each other. Big 10 already decided OSU is better than UM. now the BCS will pit the best conference champions against each other, OSU vs Florida.

Big10 doesn't have a conference championship game either. OSU vs. Michigan is built into their schedule, and if there was a conference championship game they would have to play each other again to determine the actual "winner" of the Big10.

Regardless of who the Big10 has "decided" is the best team, the BCS isn't about matching conferences, its about matching #1 vs #2

Yes, self-ownage. Responding like this is also potential self-ownage. Are you going to disappear should Florida make it in and lose?

A. Ohio isn't exactly a "western" state
B. Southerners don't exactly have the greatest reputation when it comes to intelligence

Not quite. Michigan always plays OSU which means they'd most likely be in the same division and thus Michigan wouldn't even make it into the conference championship (because they lost) if the Big10 even had one.

Three things:

1. Michigan's ONLY "quality" win this year was over what you called "the heavily over-rated ND."

2. Maybe if Wisconsin could actually beat a ranked team, and not play The Children's School for the Deaf and Blind every out-of-conference game, the Badgers would have more of an argument. Oh, and not finished THIRD in their conference would help too.
