The media loves him because campaign finance reform puts all the election power of influence in their hands.

Wow someone else that grasps the essence of campaign finance reform.

What would it tell you about a guy who would switch parties in order to get a nomination. It means he is after power at any cost even if it means giving up his personal beliefs. I wouldn't vote for him in either party. I have read many times that he has an uncontrollable, bad temper. Not the guy you want in charge of the worlds most powerful military. If you check his voting record, the man is ultra-conservative. He is outspoken on one hot-button issue and people flock to him like he's the pied piper.

No, they did like McCain. But the party told all the good little Republicans that unless they wanted 4 years of Gore, they had to vote for Bush, and they did.

Just the same way as the Democratic party told their people they had to vote for Gore instead of Bradley if they wanted to keep the White House.

The result? The weakest presidential candidates ever. Both of them were rubber stamped by their parties before the primaries started.

If the only choices were Bush and Hitler......Heil Der Fuhrer!
Well, this is America and you're free to express your opinion, even if it is fscked up.
There's more than a few of us around here who had family fight and some die to stop Hitler.
To compare our president to Hitler just for the sake of being "cute" on a BBS shows your general level of maturity.
Grow the fsck up!:disgust:

Exactly.

Bingo. His campaign finance reform bill is an absolute joke (corporations are restricted, but the unions can still get away with all sorts of crap). Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.
