if newegg forces a refund instead of repair, what should i do?

i have heard that they refund if they dont have the exact revision in stock. I RMA'd my Asus a7n8x deluxe, and i have a bizzarre revision that has not been available in a very long time. If they force me to refund instead of repair, what should i do.

1. is it true that they do not replace if they dont have the exact revision?
2. get another asus a7n8x deluxe (but this time get a sweet rev2)
3. get a better one (please explain)

note that i use SATA, but that is about the only non standard thing i do use

1gb corsair xms

Get the newer version, why would you want the same board back if they'll just refund your money?

hi,
in my experience, they will just give you the latest version of the motherboard. they replaced my flaky nf7-s v1.0 with a v2.0 and the same for an older shuttle mb that went bad.
#1 is not true.
my bet is that you will get

a sweet rev2

Just RMAed the same board. They just sent it out. I will see what I get in 3 days.
